IF I could do anything I wanted this weekend it would be to freeze time so Mike wouldn't have to leave next Weds (soppy cow ain't I )
As it is we have a very busy week until then:
*Dinner with my family last night
*James Taylor concert tonight
*Cincinnati Reds game tomorrow night
*NASCAR qualifying event Fri
*Leave before dawn Sat for Nashville for the weekend--hitting many places (including Belle Meade Plantation) but mainly for the Ryman, Country Music Hall of Fame then to the Grand Ole Opry for a show Saturday night
*On the way back home (long way home ) hit Bowling Green, Ky to see the Corvette plant, Owensboro to the International Bluegrass Museum then a couple distilleries on the Bourbon Trail (Jim Beam and Maker's Mark I think)
We should get home just in time for him to finish packing then we leave for the airport Weds morn about 9:30.
It's been a very busy 3 months; if I could the only thing I'd have done differently would be to squeeze in a few more trips so I could show him more of Kentucky and our country but with working during the day I guess I did all I was able. Hey, if nothing else I'm a great hostess and tour guide

This is a new weekend now. Looks like a drive to mom and dad's house on Sunday. It's her birthday and father's day. i really enjoy my family, so it should be tons of fun.

This weekend I have a private party for one of my regulars, and the rest will be sorting out about 10yrs accumulation for a garage sale.
Now what I really want to do: (we are going to do this the last weekend of the month)
Take 3 days and go to the Oregon Coast take the Dogs with us. Sip on good whiskey, twiddle our toes in the sand, walks on the beach, fine dining, evening karaoke and dancing, hot tubbing, gamble at the casino, maybe a round of golf, and more good sippin' whiskey. This should do the trick...

Flipper: I hope summer arrives for your Ore coast weekend. We're still waiting here in Seattle for summer. Wonder if this will be the year that it skips us completely? Sunrise 5:10, sunset 9:15, and we don't see the sun for days on end... Harumph....

I hope it does too! The weather has been really crappy.
Looks like it will be good for 5-6 days now. I have learned to never trust weather reports longer than 5 days out in PNW...
Low 70's right now

My fantassy weekend?
It is coming up, I had to move the date of my 30th birthday party as I was in A&E for 4 days (A&E = ER).
ALL my good friends are coming up for the weekend, my family is joining us for a party. I have hired a gorgeous venue, setting up my gear, rocking the karaoke, DJ a bit (then just autoplay).
During the day I am going shopping for new clothes, haircut and just chill.
The next day - we are having a beach party in the back garden.
However, next weekend I am going to Alton Towers (UK theme park), karaoke in the evening, and sunday I have an evasive driving course starting.
