everywhere i log in on showcase, I get red Xs where the profile pics should be? anyone having this problem?

Me too.

I'm thinking it might be aliens.

Those crazy aliens are always stealing pictures to take back to Planet SS.

It kind of makes me angry. What right do they have to steal our Avatars?
