The karaoke version of Alley Cat from Sound Choice! There are no words on that one.

Tequila is great for karaoke -- it gives *everyone* a song they can do.

EVERY time I've used that DK version... the venue went NUTS!
Sorry, while I agree in THEORY with the topic title, it just doesn't add up in the real world!
As for stuff I'm surprised is made into karaoke? Heck, just about ANY hip hop song (speaking PERSONALLY)

Tequila has come in handy for me a few times.
The song too.
How about the Chicken Dance? I have never found the need for that karaoke song.

Tequila works well. Pumps up the energy. This has been a first karaoke song for many people in my places. Some even later sang songs with more than one word! How about Rock and Roll, Part Two- Gary Glitter. Hey!!!

You should live in my part of the country Babs . In addition to being hillbilly country I live in Northern Kentucky, right across the river from Cincinnati, and this area has one of the largest Germanic-influenced populations in the country. Chicken Dance is a big hit here (though mainly at parties/receptions etc)
I think they put these "nonvocal" tracks out just for entertainment because you never know what might happen. Yanno, one of those "what happens at karaoke STAYS at karaoke" kinda thangs

Hmmm...that does have a "laaaa-la-laaaa-la-laaaaaaaa" chorus, but not until about 3/4 of the way thru' the song, so you'd have to wait a while to do any singing!

If you ever do a wedding down here in German country, you had better have it!

I got a gal that will not sing but will get up & do the dance on stage. Sometimes getting others up on the dance floor doing it too.

How about Wipeout by the Surfaris? Still one word, but at least it's in the beginning.....

Which company put that one out? Never saw an actual karaoke version of that one.

Why would you need one? 1 word in the beginning- that's it!

Technically, that's no more a karaoke version than Wipeout. It's on the disc, but only the title page is displayed

That's why I was asking, did a company actually put this out? This thread is supposed to be about songs that were actually put out in karaoke format that don't have any words to them.
