Wow I can't believe this Cactus Jack! This is my neighbor and friend Steve with the 59 Cadillac, he lives around the corner from me on the water. Many nights we would throw a couple racks of our favorite beverages in that old caddy, and cruise around town. The way that thing drinks fuel its a good candidate for a test of some kind.

I helped Steve a little bit with the fabrication of his nitrogen generators (I believe thats what he called them) but I still hav'nt got a conclusive answer as to what kind of mileage improvement is to be expected. He did say that the Oxygen sensors are causing a problem using that system, as the computer senses a lean condition and richens the mixture.

He offered to give me one for my VW diesel, which I hope to try soon. I now get 49 mpg, but 50 or 50+ sounds even better.

Any it was a nice surprise to see this, and if I get a generator for my VW, I will get back to you with the results.
Ron

I didnt look at that one close. Your older engines were more tolerant of different fuel mixtures and hotter burn rates. If you were to do what we used to do with the old flat head Ford v 8's, it wouldnt last for 100 miles. Valves would burn etc.. That is one thing to consider when using these It is a lot more costly in engine repairs.

well my friend robert who worked as a mechanic for the local ford dealership for 15 years says it works great in his ford pickup truck hes went from 14 mpg to 21 mpg, plenty of info on it on youtube. my dad was a mechanic for over 60 yrs. tho he would have been skeptical i know he would have made me build one, just out of curiosity....cal
