Think of it this way. Look at all the fun you'll have scaring little kids with it.
Funny you should mention that. We have a huge back yard that backs up to a soccer field at a local school and we get families walking their dogs along our chain link fence all day long. Our dogs Lhasa Apsos love to play with the other dogs at the fence. This has become a social event for both the dogs and their owners. Yesterday a family with three kids came by and while the dogs were doing their usual bark and run routine the Mom and kids picked some blackberries growing on the other side of the fence. Some of the kids were poking their fingers through the fence and teasing my dogs a bit and the mother did everything she could to keep them from doing it for fear that they might entice the dogs to bite.
So I walked up to both of them and said...You know I use to do what you guys are doing up until about a month ago. I don't do it anymore cause I got bit by a dog and he took the top of my finger right off. One of them just laughed and said oh sure. So I showed it to them...OMG you should have saw the look on their faces...
it was priceless.
The mother got a really good gut laugh out of it. Then I told them what really happened. Betcha those kids will thing twice about poking dogs through the fence next time.
