Twilight Zone Theme by Soundchoice

Technically, that's no more a karaoke version than Wipeout. It's on the disc, but only the title page is displayed

The Twilight Zone theme song is on their Halloween edition & even states on the disc is NOT a karaoke song.

I'm not sure if this is completely appropriate for this thread because the song has words in it, but I was really surprised to see Salty Chocolate Balls by Chef from South Park on an SGB disc. There are also some other South Park songs and a few by Adam Sandler. Though, I must admit that I have lots of fun with Adam Sandler. It is very easy to get my friends involved with some of his stuff. :withstupid:

This thread was more geared for karaoke versions of songs with no words or less than a couple words throughout the song, not just songs that might be strange/controversial to have.

Well, I wasn't sure. :)

I based my response on the initial question, "Is anything more ridiculous than a karaoke version of Tequila"?

I'd thought about it awhile back, saw Tequila was available but not on any disks where I wanted other songs. So I forgot about it until I returned a backup player to a friend at her night and saw she had it. It was a series of odd photos and then the word "Tequila" would appear, fill in and disappear. It was so ridiculous, I went and bought the only version I could find (on ebay) that night: We Will Rock You/Stadium Songs. So, this week at our HUGE goth night(!), I turned the monitor around and we all laughed ourselves silly. It had a countdown with numbers to presumably let you know when to sing "tequilla" but when it got to 0, it was way too soon. Then suddenly Tequila appeared and disappeared. So weird.

Now I want every version I can get. Are any of these still in print?
Tequila Champs, The DKKaraoke DK082
Tequila Champs, The DKKaraoke Applause DK3090
Tequila Champs, The DKKaraoke Deluxe 79 Disc DKDX3090
Tequila Champs, The DKKaraoke Millennium DKM3090
Tequila Champs, The Music Factory 3 Disc Packs MF1893-1
Tequila Champs, The w/vocal Music Factory 3 Disc Packs MF1893-1

Not available anymore. You may be able to find the DK Millenium on ebay - but that's an entire core set. I saw it on the Tricerasoft site by Classic Karaoke.

Now this is definitely more ridiculous than a karaoke version of Tequila -- the w_vocal track!

I think that the Music Factory is who bought the DK stuff. (Or was that Song Factory?)

DKM3090 was available a year or two ago when I bought it. I don't know about now -- I am certainly glad I bought the set while I could.

The Millenium set would not be bad to buy, if you don't have any of the disks.

Song Factory bought out the DK masters. Not sure if they are even still around.

How about the Chicken Dance? I have never found the need for that karaoke song.

If you ever do a wedding down here in German country, you had better have it!

Ok...I know this is off-topic, but I gotta ask. Are there any words to The Chicken Dance? I figure those of you w/ a karaoke version would know. I've never found a recorded version with words, but I've heard people singing along with the music and always wondered where they got the words from. I'm strange, I know :)

On my MusicMaestro version, there are. On the one I have seen from SoundChoice, there are none.

I have heard some lyrics that said "With a little bit of this and a little bit of that and a little bit of this." I've never heard lyrics to the middle part, though.

There were no lyrics in the original song. There are no official lyrics to it as others have created there own.

How about "Alleluia" from W. A. Mozart's "Exsultate, Jubilate"? (Yes, there is actually a karaoke version----Music Minus One, Disc 4030, Track No. 1). True, there is singing throughout (about 2-1/2 minutes worth) but the single word "Alleluia" is repeated over and over throughout the entire piece.

you use THAT for a qualifying member, and you'll have to exclude about half of the songs made in the pop 80s! LOL!
