Katy Perry (23) has publiicly stated she wants to kiss Miley Cyrus (15), a la Britney and Madonna, during an awards show. Do you beileve this is ok? Would it make a difference if it was a 23 year old male pop star who wanted to do this?

Somehow I don't think that Billy Ray will go for that and I don't think
it's a good idea either.

Billy Ray does seem a bit sleazy at times. Maybe call him Pimp Daddy Ray instead.

Billy Ray was in those somewhat sleazy pics with Miley. Sure he would be right there digging it. Miley, Britney et al...sleazebag pop tarts. Don't need 'em.

I think it's kinda immature sounding. I mean, why doesn't she choose an "over 18" pop star to kiss publicly? (hell, there's enough willing... ) She's trying to catch a free ride on Miley's fame I think.

(if I were momma Cyrus, I'd be meeting a certain 23 year old ho in a back alley someplace... but then, that's just me)

Hmmm some how I got the idea that Billy Ray was protecting his daughter
from all the sleeze. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it seems like to me.

J.D., yes but one does not expect such shots from one of the supposedly top photographers in the world, and a woman to boot. Most people usually trust their professionals to do a good job.

Just because she is a woman does not place her on a higher moral plane. She's been a photog for so long and has been drinking from the cup of fame, that she just thinks she can do anything. Celebs and those that work with them don't see themselves as beholding to the same rules of decorum as us. They believe they are above us. BTW, I don't even know who Katy Perry is.

Well who ever decided to pick Annie Liebovitz as the photographer made an error in judgement to begin with. You don't pick her if you just want regular everyday themed photos without some edge or controversy to them.

Well as for posting pictures on the internet sometimes you really don't have a
choice. If someone gets a picture of you somehow and posts it how do you
stop them. Look at all the people snapping pictures when ever a cleb shows
up somewhere. As to Miley's pictures they are supposed to be old ones
probably taken with permission and with the rights given to the photographer
which means they own them and can do what they want.

Have you ever had a picture taken at a professional studio and seen the
studio name printed on the back. That means they own the rights to to the
photo and can do what they want with them and it is even illegal for YOU to
make copies without their permission.

I really don't think that Billy Ray would let sleeze pictures of his teenage
daughter to be put out.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Miley posted the pix herself.. Kinda skanky, and re-posted everywhere..

I don't normally think of kids that way.. She does though..

Well, yeah. But Annie is mild compare to other photographers and she is known as a celeb photo person. She photographed a lot of Rolling Stone magazine covers, not too riske mostly. Imagine going to Mapplethorpe, god rest his soul, for a portrait.

Appropriate? In my opinion, No. But they don't call it "show" business for nothing. Unfortunately, some people think they have to instill a good amount of shock value to get their 15 minutes of fame. And unfortunately, they're right.

Heck, in Texas and Utah she can be your wife.....a little old for a 50 year old cult dude.....but I guess she'd do for a few years...

Geez that's already been done and made fun of already. The shock value for show biz of the girl on girl kiss has been over done !

I'd think someone in their publicity group would say "No" - it's just stupid and wouldn't get the reaction they'd want. People were so up in arms in her taking risky pictures, I can't imagine the repercussions from a underage girl kissing another girl.
