Karaoke Builder has been mentioned in several threads recently. It looks pretty neat but I'm wondering how the picture building aspect works in practice. Mostly, I was wondering about the speed of the rendering (CDG takes just under three seconds to do a complete screen refresh.) How many colors will it render of the 4096 that are possible in CDG format? How many of you use it or DART and how would you improve it if you could?

I too would be interested in knowing as well. I'm leaning towards Karaoke Builder and Karaoke Builder Studio . It appears to be about what I'm looking for.

The biggest difference between Dart and Karaoke Builder Studio is ease of use. Karaoke Buuilder is much easier to use. You need to be an expert to use Dart.

As I recall, Karaoke Builder works with your Existing 16 Color Pallet, but I could be wrong. In the beginning I thought it was cool. After awhile it became a Pain to fit the Time Gap.
How would I improve it, IF I COULD? (Which I Can't) I'd give it the ability to Edit an Existing CDG (Easily). Something no software on the market today can offer.
In my opinion... Karaoke Builder is Too Boring! If your going to take the time to insert something... Do it Right! Use Karaoke Builder Studio. Insert anything Easier by adjusting when your text appears. 2 to 3 seconds can make a big difference on some tracks. Add much better Audio and change the colors and you have a dynamite track.
