Yep, it's headed right up my butt....Gonna be a bull's eye this time.

We are certain to lose power for at least a week and have huge trees down everywhere.....Glad my house is on high ground.

I stocked up today on bud light, candles, bud light, food, bud light, propane, bud light, gasoline, bud light and other essential stuff.....gotta make one more trip for more bud light tho.

Got the new pool table installed yesterday so we will have something to do while we endure the storm.

Well good luck Keith! Sounds rough. How far inland are you anyway? Maybe get some Jack Daniels to go along with the Bud Light.

You need a Honda generator with the exhaust vented into the furnace chimbley. I would buy cans and not bottles...You might want to nail plywood over the south windows.

Here in Colorado we will get another half inch of rain from the after affect.

Keith, it sounds like you may run short of bud light, you may want to stock up.

We were all in a bar in Norfolk Va one time when the moon and tides were in phase. The bar started taking in water and us and the bartender were all perched on bar stools . One guy :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: almost got electrocuted by the cig machine. But when the tubes in the jukebox popped from cold sea water the bartender said OK Last Call We are out of here!!!

In the Artic circle in the winter I went thru 20 foot seas North of Scotland in the North Sea on a light cruiser... It is fun being at the helm with rough seas. for half the time the rudder is above water and has no response and same with the screws.

An inexperienced OOD will panic. An old officer will give the order Helmsman Steer By Seamans Eye Try to keep her on course nothing above half rudder...

AYE AYE Sir!!! I am steering by my (@$%&#!) and have the helm Sir!!!

I have taken over the helm as Second Class Petty Officer in emergencies...

I hope it flushes what's left of New Orleans out to sea....The place is a cesspool full of nuthin but queers and welfare democrats.

Latest update sez storm is gonna follow coastline westward and not intrude too much into my hood....We may lose power and a few trees....That's cool, I can use the firewood.

Anything but pissy cottonwood!! And if the hydraulic hose on your log splitter has a leak it puts a bad smell on your wood too... Firewood heats twice when you are splitting and when you are burning..

I was 7 years old before we had electricity and 10 before we had hot and cold running water in the house. There still might be some that use barb wire fence for phone lines.

most of the cesspools and speakeasys of the 20s produced some of the best jazz and blues...I guess you really dont have an empathy for music
