Flipper's right....$10 million is a ridiculous amount of insurance. Perhaps they're 'feeling you out' to see if you're legit, or have serious liability issues and want YOU to pay for their coverage.........? What is this for anyways?
I have been using Burlington Insurance for 9 years now. It is a $1 million dollar- ($2 million dollar aggregate) policy that has covered all of my hotel contracts as 'added insured' and every private or corporate gig i've performed. This type of policy costs me $1,041.25 a year without terrorism coverage.
For a few years i went through ADJA to get moonbounce-inflatable insurance and that ran me $4,000 per year running 10 inflatables, concessions, 2 dunk tank, rock wall, and covering my large outdoor events extensively. 5 years of 'inflating costs' on the inflatables (went to $7k per year) and i sold them/discontinued them and starting subcontracting other companies for those services...WAY too expensive..and my BACK was giving out. Burlington Insurance covers the concessions and all my contractors when they sign my sub-contracts.
I moved to hawaii to 'semi-retire' from the large corporate entertainment business. Many years of it left me burnt out. I still run my business from the island and have several employees that keep it running on the mainland. I keep myself entertained by hosting karaoke shows a few times a week in hawaii. no stress.
