One particular person I know would sing “Still Doing Time” by George Jones when he was drunk.

Oh wait… that was me.

When I am drunk;
I can't sing

I can't sing
even when I an not drinking.

When I do sing when I am drunk
I would not remember what I was singing.

Unfortunately we'll never be able to compete in a "worst singer drinking" contest. I can't drink either :( So it just wouldn't be possible for me to produce results regarding how much better I can sing worse than you while not sober

Madu
This is one song that is sang everynight here. When done by a drunk; the dancing crowd will take over the singing about half way. No drunk can last 8 min singing this song.

In the UK "My way" seems to be the drunken guy's favourite.......Drunk women seem to like the "Country Classics" (lol) ie "Rose Garden..Stand By Your Man" etc......and the Drunk couple's duet always seems to be .."I Got You Babe"...

Well, I try not to get drunk. Usually if I drink too much, I have a headache. I do drink some, though. Of the ones on the list so far, I've sung "You Oughta Know" with the words somewhat cleaned up, and "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" with a large group of people (they just invited anyone who wanted to to come up and sing).

I don't really have anything to add to the list that isn't on there already. I think you guys have covered most of 'em (although there are a few on this list that I've never heard anyone sing).

Oh, I've got one: "Goodbye Earl". I don't know that it's sung ONLY by drunks, but it gets sung a lot.

Isn't getting drunk the point of Karaoke? Or is it that Karaoke is the point of getting drunk? I'm confused...actually I'm drunk...where's the mike!

Maybe for some people it is--but I go to karaoke places 'cause I love singing.

Yup. I haven't had a drink for many years. Many of my karaoke friends don't drink or drink one at most. We all love to sing.

All the ones mentioned before are pretty much the same ones on my shows. "Picture" is one of my least favorites to hear now....egh!! Also "I May Hate Myself In The Morning" is another. Also I have one guy that sings "If I Were A Drinking Man" after getting completely wasted! LOL!! That is always good for a laugh.

If you want a wondrous experience, check out the Madu song link above and imagine what this host goes through listening to drunks do it every night. I was in awe.

I Touch Myself- The Divinyls

(this drunk gal did it one night with a stupid blonde wig on, it was hillarious.. she made a fool of herself)

I actually love that song, but I'm a big Dixie Chicks fan. I used to do it at karaoke, but more often than not a drunk girl or two (sometimes 4 or 5) would want to "help out". And it did end up being a drunk girl song... kinda gotta that stigma. But I still like the song... I just don't care to hear drunk karaoke versions of it, and it's been forever and a day since I did it myself (don't wanna hear any "groans" when the music starts yanno, Lol) . Had a girl one time dedicate it to her ex who was at the bar tho- that was pretty funny:)

For the crazy drunks it seems to be

"Welcome to the jungle"

For some reason many people think that song is a permission slip to just act stupid...

On the other hand I have heard a lot of the other songs on this list done well by (mostly) sober people.
