Ron-

Sure you are allowed to post in the Singers Forum. I never posted a song either. I think all you need to do is ask a moderator or Phill to admit you. I think there (at least used to be) a minimum post count needed of around 10 posts (which you have).. Request membership to the forum, it's open to all. Naturally I could post a song in there under "listen only" but I've stated my reason for generally not wishing to participate as a serious critical learner that wishes to keep it real, and earn my rank (not be gifted a 6 knowing I'm a lower rank. I also want total honesty..Anyway, we musicians aren't very popular in the showcase, I wish to be told how a can improve, not just thrown flowers and getting into backscratching..I want folks to be tough on me for my own good..Just what I want, HONEST but tough)...LOL

I've had a couple of very honest tough coaches so-far and it's MADE all the difference in the world. I'd never have made ANY improvement if people were afraid to tell it like they believe it to be without regard for hurting my feelings.. Truth can't hurt my feelings.. People HEAR the truth anyway :)

Well Kappy, I think you got just what you asked for in Paula, and according to her rating system that I read, you are actually doing pretty good. She sounds pretty amazing as a teacher, so you got it going on right now, I'm jealous, lol....Ron

She did me a tremendous favor by her willingness to tell it like it is ! It's EXACTLY what is needed in a VERY tough artform. I don't wish for it ANY other way, I want to become a "singer" of SOME type. What type is what remains in question :P As I stated I don't wish to be ranked as JQ Public trying to sing. I wish to be ranked among singers ! I will be proud of ALL improvement but need to start as all start... Not knowing yet how to sing, just learning !

OK, I better not threadjack Keiths thread or he'll slap me upside my yankee head..HEHE

On the news last night, they reported that bar and restaurant sales in the "big city" were down 17%. However at our local karaoke spot, the hostess says that her rotation roster has been growing each week. People are still going out but staying closer to home?????
