I am wanting to hook up karaoke in my 1300 sq ft garage. I know nothing about equip. I need but I thought maybe i could get a few suggestions/recomendations here. I do have a laptop, a Peavy KB 100 keyboard amplification amp. 2 pretty nice audiovox microphones. I do have an active wireless internet connection.
What would be the cheapest/best way to go?

Here's my opinion - If you're looking for a decent affordable for HOME/GARAGE karaoke go with a POWERED MIXER and some 12" speakers. Any of the following will offer enough GOOD volume and sound.

Behringer - PMP860M - $299 - Great Unit and Features for a little money
Yamaha - EMX312 - $375 - Better Unit same basic Features more money
Peavey PR12" speakers - $169 each - Like them for small size applications
Yamaha BR12's are also a good choice - heavier and a little more money

Use the mics you have and if you feel the need to upgrade or replace you can never go wrong with a Shure Sm58 for $99

I believe that keyboard amp has a mic input. Try plugging one of your mics into it, an Ipod or music player device into another channel, and try singing along. If that's acceptable to you then you don't have to buy any PA gear to start with.

A better solution would be to get a small PA (for your purposes used over Craigslist because sound gear depreciates rapidly) but that could be down the road.

I'll let the laptop guys steer you in that department.

If I weren’t going to have subwoofers, I’d choose 15” speakers.
