Vicki, when you say you are going to pre-record, do you mean you are recording your singing of these songs or are the songs going to be the originals with you doing the radio-DJ voice over?

If the latter, I do have an mp3 of "Dam'n The Dam"

So that's why my ears were ringing.

I'm still floating around out here. I check in here every now and then and I tip-toe through the showcase. I haven't recorded a song in ages. I think I've forgotten how. I keep thinkin' I'll blow the dust off the ol' mic but so far it's just a thought. But all is well and thank you for thinking about me!

I don't know what recording/editing program you use, but most of them have pre-set for am radio filter. this will make your recording sound like post war radio broadcast. If that is what you want for effect.

You can get that same effect by playing with the eq. Just filter off all low and the high frequency leaving a narrow frequency range at the mid.

Just a suggestion.

thanks AJ yeah I planned on doing it I have actually mixed a couple of songs I have sung like that in the past and used some efx like a record retrack and clicks and pops
