Would help if we knew the make and model but it should have a standard RCA comp video input. Is this going to the stage monitor or big screen? If I used it I would use one one of the video outs on the video distribution amp. The video out of a laptop or any video source would work.

Actually I formatted an answer before I had a browser crash. But Ollie is right -- you really need to be more forthcoming with information if you want help. We don't know what video outputs your laptop has, we don't know what video inputs your sender has.

My answer said basically, "Pretend the RCA composite input on the sender is the RCA input of the TV."

hi guys
thanks for the answers.
i basically come out of the Svideo on my laptop and into the rca on my stage monitor so i guess i could split the svideo with one rca going into stage montor and the other into the sender

thanks

Not unless you get an svideo distribution amp. The "splltter cables" really don't work. One of the signals is degraded. You can try it, but I recommend this instead:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2

That will allow you to use a VGA stage monitor, or an SVideo cable to your stage monitor, leaving an RCA for your sender. This is what I do.
