I'm not sure at this point I'm working Halloween. This is kind of my idea. Fridays are supposed to be my open night, but I haven't had one off since June. If my home room doesn't push me to do it I'm taking it off and heading out!

DJs and KJs dressed as pirates... that's rich.

LMAO That's right. Long blonde hair and horns. To be a pirate I'll have to put something on my head to hide those horns.

Cinderella!
I've gone all out with the dress, hoop crinoline, gloves, blue cape, wig and even the glass slippers!
I wanted to impress my 5 year old and I'm sure the other little kids I will see will love it.
I can't wait!

That sounds beautiful ! I bet you'll look gorgeous.

lol I think I will go as a West Texas Cowboy in a black cowboy hat, boots, and my wrangler jeans! lol I never change the way I am! When we have dress up days here at the school where I teach, the kids always ask me what I am going to dress up as, and I always tell them I am dressing up as me! lol Guess I get stuck in a rut but I am definitely comfortable in who I am! lol I must admit though, the idea of a pretty lady in a skimpy costume will almost make this cowboy get out of Texas for a couple of days! lol The priates costume I am sure will be a fun costume for you to wear! --Mike

Oh that made me laugh out loud. My daughter asked me what I was laughing at. I read the post and showed her your avatar.

She is a kindergarden teacher for a daycare. Last yr she went as dorothy and the kids loved it. She thinks your cowboy look is cool. She is just jealous she can't be dorothy all yr. :D

lol Babs! I always have a good time with my kids over not dressing up for things! They ask me and they already know the answer! lol It would be a very special day to catch me in something besides my boots, jeans, and a cowboy hat. Of course I hang my hat up in my classroom back by my desk! lol One of these days I should just shock them! Oh no!!!!!What am I talking about!!! I can't do that! If I dressed any other way, it would feel like I went to school without my pants or something! lol I would not feel right! Your daughter teaches kindergarden? At the present, I teach 8th grade English! I keep waiting for someone at our high school to retire so I can go back to teaching high school English again! --Mike

I was thinking of taking off all my clothes and wearing roller skates. I'd be a giant pull-toy.

A fat boy by the name of Croll,
Had an idea that was very droll.
At a masquerade ball,
dressed in nothing at all,
he backed in as a Parker House roll.

I apparently have a Pirate costume awaiting my arrival in Canada on the 30th! Guess I won't be dressing up as Neil, huh?
