With you on this......In the Pub I KJ we get packed out with people who want to SING....they're not there To See The Wiggly Dave Show....on a good night I can get through 60 + songs.....as long as I use the mixer well,and get the next singer up quickly,the customers are happy!

Exactly, they are not there to see me.

Wednesday and Sunday nights I run pub quizzes - very different kettle of fish, then "Nik" is a major part of the night, cos I am a quiz host and very jokey, chatty...

maybe In The UK the emphasis is more on "The Customer" than in the US???
