Well karaoke is only one little addition in which make sure he's only paying that portion for the days they actually do karaoke. He needs to pay if he even has a tv playing, any kind of music (radio, muzak, digital/cable, jukebox) - if it's muzak or a jukebox, this is sometimes covered under the jukebox company agreement/license. If they do any dj or live music. If they have a dance floor (believe it or not).
