Yep, next week (Oct 26th thru 31st) I will be in Chicago. I am going to go see Babs while I am there. I wish I could see her monkeys too. Are they still banished from the show? Going to the Wednesday night show and I am uber excited!!!
I think I'll be paying a visit to Chicago City Limits on Thursday to sing Karaoke with the band. Has anyone from here ever gone there?

Holy smokes!! I'll do that. I will actually be in the burbs close to where Babs show is. And I don't plan on going to downtown CHicago.

And yes, Babs has monkeys, Babs business is called MONKEY BUSNIESS KARAOKE. Her customers used to bring her Monkeys but about a year ago the owner of the bar said she had to remove them. She was pretty bummed and so were her customers.

Yes the monkeys are still pretty much banned. I have a few still around, but keep it simple so the owner doesn't get mad.

I am excited too. I may become somewhat of a regular as I will be going to Chicago a couple of times a year for work. I'll have to get a pic with the Monkies and with you!! And hopefully I will remember my real camera. 
My ex husband runs the sound at City Limits. I'll have to tell him.
I'm hoping to see Johnny and Karen if they can swing it. They are such great people!!

I would love to see them too ! I haven't seen nor heard from Johnny in a while. They really are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
I'm hoping Wed. night will be slow, so we can visit. We might have a good chance for it since Halloween is Friday.
In your Exhusbands defense I know the singers who went to sing at City Limits had weak voices. Maybe he had a hard time dialing them in.

Aaaw darn it. We could have had a KS reunion of sorts. Johnny are you sure Karen and you can't make Wednesday? I need a specialist in Hallowen songs and know you'd get the crowd going with your ghost busters.

Been awhile since I've sung Halloween songs. As a matter of fact, I don't go out for karaoke much anymore. Not doing, or even going to any Halloween parties this year....... .....I let my hair go gray, put on 25 lbs, and most of my cloths don't even fit anymore..... ....just an old recluse who watches TV and eats, and eats.....got two new grandsons, and now I look the part....lmao....I'm actually daycare for the oldest one( 4months and a week). It's been since he was 6 weeks old, and I think I've developed post-pardum depression.... .....naw, he's a great kid, and I swear he's been trying to sing, since he was two months....it's funny, I have it on video......ps.....I hope the two of you have some time to talk Wednesday. You are both extremely wonderful people, who have much in common....sorry I can't make it, but that means more time for the two of you to get aquainted.......................course, if the two of you wanted to join me in making a johnny reverb sandwich......I'd cancel any plans I have, and be there with the mayo...........lmao.....that's because I can no longer cut the mustard.......have fun....jj
