This just in from Fox news. Former American Idol contestant and Oscar winner (Dreamgirls) Jennifer Hudson's home was broken into and her mother and brother were shot and killed today in Chicago. Also reported but not verified, a child has been abducted from the location and is being held for a ransom.

I'm still trying to follow this story up....there is NO mention in any of the stories on the internet about an abduction.
Police are saying that it looks like a domestic incident.

Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death in her Chicago home Friday afternoon, according to reports
A representative from Hudson family's church, Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist, confirmed to the Chicago Sun-Times that Hudson's mother, Darnell Hudson, 57, was murdered. TMZ.com confirms Hudson's brother, Jason, was also a victim.
"Officers responded to a call of two people found unresponsive," Chicago Police Department spokesman John Mirabelli tells Usmagazine.com. "They discovered a male and a female that had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
"Right now, our investigation is a double homicide," the spokesman tells Us. "We understand family members are on the scene."
Officer Mirabelli would not confirm details of the shooting, but TMZ.com reports a cousin who lives nearby discovered the bodies.
Hudson has been outspoken about how close she is with her family.
After winning the Best Actress Academy Award for Dreamgirls in 2007, the 27-year-old thanked her family for supporting her and said she was "so grateful" to have her mother "here celebrating with me."

i wonder if this has anything to do with her new husband, a really bizarre reality tv star from the I Love New York Show..it seemed like a strange pairing. Could be the guy lost it...he had a temper on I.L.N.Y. along qwith all the other men vying for New York. I guess time will tell what happened.

It's all over the news here in Chicago. I really hope they catch this guy although it won't bring back her loved ones, I think it will give her and her family some piece of mind knowing this guy is behind bars.
