I never called or referred to our anyone on this thread as being slanted. But based upon how you clearly and so easily turn everything around to suit your needs, I'd say you're a very devious person who will say and do anything to accomplish your ends. hey eric, as i see it the very FIRST thing on this thread was the video..so therefore this thread was (started) by an attack on Obama..whether Babs changed that, by asking what we think of it, the truth is it was STARTED as an attack on Obama..what is so hard about that Polly Palin...you are just like little baby Mccain who cant stop talking about Obamas faults rather than play up his own merits. Just keep being who you are Polly, it only makes our arguement against Republicans that much more believable....

you know somethin bothers me about the crap Obama giot for the whole hand over heart thing...check out this video for a basketball game...before you do, pay attention to as many people as you can see with their hand over their heart during the National Anthem..Im not sure if I even saw one..certainly the players werent doing it, Marvin Gay wasnt doing it (and being black that has got to make people assume he is a sleeper terrorist)

so i ask, If we are gonna hold our President to that standard, then shouldnt all those people there be questioned of their allegiance to the flag? and every person at every stadium event not holding their hands over their heart during the anthem , should get flogged for their lack of patriotism. Sure anyone that says it lacks respect has a point, but drawing the conclusion that people are uncaring and unpatriotic because their hands are at their side is just plain wrong. I have gotten very emotional at games when I hear that song and yet my arms hang at my side. I know the point was this man is gonna be president , he should know better, perhaps , but as an American he has the freedom to choose how he tributes the flag and our country. Not trying to open a page 3,4,5 can of worms again, just wanted to get that off my chest.

by the way, the way Marvin Gay sings this (without his hand over his heart) is more patriotic than I have ever seen from anyone with their hands on their hearts. there is more than one way to show your love for America. Hear all the clapping at the end of the video?...can you feel a lump in your throat, all that clapping would not be possible with just one hand

pretty much everything he said was cool...kinda like the Fonz...l...how ya doing buddy? like my old pappy use to say.....son if there not liars going in there liars coming out....reading the bible u can see that things won't get better only worst....and lord knows there worse then ever right now, but i feel there getting a lot worse and no one can change that regardless of color....color doesn't enter into it for me...who can do the least damage does....but to say that people aren't voting because of color and ONLY because of color is crazy....i thought i saw a poll saying over 90% blacks r voting Obama....people vote for many reasons, we each have our own....if i were black sure i would think a black person would help me more then a white person...same for whites....
but from what i hear it seems a lot that r voting for Obama thinks he walks on water...that's scary....to me anyway....McCain is no better, just different...i think a lotta people wanna make history in their lifetime by having the first black pres. altho i could be wrong on all this.... this has been approved by me...

Obama is a U.S. Senator, and running for President of the U.S.of America. NONE of the other people that you're talking about ARE doing that. If they were, then YES, I'd be the FIRST person to question their patrotism.

As far as the W.Bush image, it hardly surprises me. I never voted for that idiot and I'm eternally grateful for it every time he opens his hinged mouth!
