I know many KJ's here also have nice libraries of regular MP3's like myself for DJing along with hosting KARAOKE

I'm looking for a program that will be able to READ my mp3's and CORRECT file names - IDENTIFY DUPLICATES and reorganize by ARTIST /ALBUM / TITLE

I've tried (2) this week that I am not happy with
FIXTUNES
MP3 Music Organizer Pro - Full version

ANYONE SUGGEST SOMETHING ELSE ?

Tag & Rename. Been using it about 10 years now, and still serves its purpose fine.

For the record: My MP3s are organised into 5 main folders ("Albums","Compilations","Soundtracks","Singles","Utilities")

In folders where it is relevant ("Albums","Soundtracks","Compilations") the format is:
{Album Artist} - {Album Title}\({Disk #} - {Track #}) {Artist} - {Title}.mp3

Otherwise simply:
{Artist} - {Title}.mp3

Every single MP3 is correctly tagged with Artist, Title, Album Artist, Year, Genre, Track #, Disk #

I can view them in Winamp or iTunes, so have a number of playlists generated and ready to roll.

Moreover (and this is possibly illegal but sue me!) the library exists on:

My Laptop
My Server
My iPod
2 removable hard drives

I make no apologies for the above - my music has cost me a LOT of money over my lifetime, and I refuse to give in to arcane laws. I only use 1 version of it at a time.

Well... It can only do what it knows...

So are your files all ID3 tagged?
Are your files all named in a specific way (inc folder)?

If so - I personally would "normalise your naming and tagging" so all files are named and/or tagged in a consistent way.

Move them all into 1 shared folder

Allow Tag&Rename to do it's work.

I mean, if I dropped all mine into 1 big folder, I could easily let Tag&Rename sort them into folders:

By artist then by year
By genre, then by artist, then by album

etc

Another though:

Does it matter?

Bare with me... Using a decent app such as iTunes or Winamp, physical folder heirarchy is ignored, and their libraries allow you to select via whatever means necessary.

You might want to try this freeware

http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

It will also let you export your tags.
