I noticed that no one crossed out the Republican part and then put up a picture of Maureen Dowd ot left wing journalist in a Soviet uniform, complete with hammer and sickle. I guess the right has more class.

Well I'm a right leaning Republican and I thought that picture was hilarious. Sean Hanity is over the top as far as I'm concerned. I do find that the media is extremely biased these days. Back in the days of Walter Cronkite that kind of thing did not exist. Two decades ago, public attitudes about how news organizations do their job were less negative. Most people believed that news organizations stood up for America. Most believed that news organizations got the facts straight, not so today.

I'm glad you liked the picture. I don't know about more class but I'm happy that most people have a sense of humor. lol Where would we be if we couldn't laugh about these things? It's the only way to relieve the stress. This is one of the most important elections we've had in history. We all feel pretty passionate about it.

I agree. TV journalists are becoming "personalities" more and more. Perhaps we like that. :?: I know I enjoy watching them argue back and forth from time to time. Who didn't enjoy watching Bill O'Reilly rip into Barney Frank over the Fannie/Freddie debacle? :dancin:

I did. lol I can almost hear Sean Hanity stomping his feet in that video. He has NO tolerance for people who aren't in line with his way of thinking.

I need to go to CoinStar and cash in all my change. I'm so broke I can barely coin a phrase. :2cents: lol

you know what i find fascinating right at this moment...CNN has reported Obamas grandmother passing away for the last 2 hours and Fox has not mentioned it once. Perhaps they are fearful that some of the undecideds will have sympathy for a young man raised by his grandmother who passed away the night before he was elected president..i call that very unfair and unbalanced not to report this event of his grandmothers passing.

George Bush, the father was the last Republican President I voted for and like the last four elections I will be voting Democrat.

And reporting it for at least 2 hours straight is fair and unbiased how?. I have no problem with reporting the news (and if Fox did not, then shame on them), but to go ad nauseum on it to garner a sympathy vote (which it appears to be) then it is nothing more than propaganda, and using a dead old lady to do so.

i didnt say they made an event out of it..they just reported it at the top of the hour where the headlines belong. you are out of your mind if you dont think that is a news worthy story at this point. I bet you thought his going to his dying grandma a few days ago was a play for votes..that is sick..you know for a Canadian you sure seem mad that Obama is going to be our president...and believe me...he is going to win...Fox is the ONLY channel that has MCCain still in this race.

yup...thanks for proving my point, as the Fox Network would rather put it in small print rather than talk about it, CNN was reporting it online AND on air. Not everyone has a computer Ollie. Finally Sheppard Smith (the only guy whos show seems balanced) reported it 3 and a half hours later.

Karyoke, thank you I don't get Fox news where I'm at (I wish) just CNN and CNBC, plus the two Canadian all news networks. So I get left, lefter, more left, and leftest. LOL.

The Fox article appeared to be a respectful report of a loss of a VIP's relative. I saw no evidence of partisanship.
