It's sad that I was only able to use my points for a short amount of time & then poof, everything was gone & I was stripped down. I'm not sure what else isn't working in the forums but I could just imagine from the frustration in your words Vicki. I wonder if things will ever get back to the way they were or maybe even better perhaps.

well having to press the reply button 4 times before actually getting it to work is a pretty good example
and I doubt anything can be done till someone actually cares

You accumulate points based on how many posts you make. Then you can go over to the forum shop and spend them, play the lottery, or put them in the forum bank where they accumulate interest.

yes I do give a few away thinking I will get rid of some then between you my little angel, and kappy I end up with more than I started with I will have to give them away in larger increments

I've been trying to figure the whole points thing out. As you can see, I'm point challenged. I've been trying to figure out what they are for. I know you get them from posting, but I haven't been able to figure out what you spend them on. I try the lottery thing periodicaally, but don't know what the benefit will be if I win. I've got a few hundred pointes in the bank....mainly to see what the heck that is for.

I've been sittin on the street in downtown Chicago playing a Sax three days a week and pounding a bucket like a drum looking for someone to give me Karaoke Scene points but I don't get any. All I keep getting is "take a shower" or "get a job" comments from those who walk by. Occasionally someone drops a quarter in my little can I use to hold my change. I can't figure out why they do that, but I appreciate it. All I want are some KS points and to know what to do with them.

Go to the forum shop. It is in the same black box to the left of your screen as is the lottery. Then click on F/X. here you can change the color of your name and title. It gives you access to your avatar and signature priviledges also. That's about it.

You can also store points in the bank and accrue interest.

Thanks for the info Babs and thanks even more for the point donation. Now I don't have to be a street perfomer any more. I was just about to go get a pair of those fingerless gloves so I could play in the cold.
