After knowing Perry for going on three years on this site, I finally had the pleasure to meet him in person. First thing he said was "I thought you were taller"... guess I should've told him I was a Pigmy... or more affectionately, one of Bab's singing Trolls.... .....Perry is an honest dude, sometimes too honest for his own good..... .....just like all of us, he vents on here sometimes, and again, just like some of us, he can rub ya the wrong way once in awhile, but let me say, he's a decent, caring human being, who enjoys singing, and hanging out with us on KS. Anyway, he was passing through my little village, so we met for coffee, and we BS'ed for about an hour or so.......next time it will be for some karaoke......thanks for stopping, buddy.........jj

Official hijacking..... Sorry Johnny. Chuck and Gigi are doing good. She just got a new car. Meep is doing good. He is doing a LOT of private parties lately so he has been super busy. Seems we only see him when he is working, but at least we see him.

I'll definatley let them know you are sending your love. Whe are you goning to get over this way? Any plans brewing yet? You'll love Jonny and his wife Karen they are really fun....

ok I feel mean hijacking the thread but it concerns Johnny too cos I know we are gonna meet...2010 seems to be the year...all going well...at present things are bad enough at work that I wonder if I will still be in the same job...but I am planning around 2010 cos that is when the army band are back in Edinburgh and it means we only have to pay for one fare...Steve offered for us to do it together next year but why pay $20,000 for a trip when you can get away with $10,000 waiting a year. Plus if he comes he will want equal say in where we go and who we see...and he's seen quite a bit of the USA and hates karaoke...so that would kinda put a fly in the ointment.

Too funny about Johnny's height. Tig's that way, too! 5' but 200 lbs. Try to move him and he stops ya in ya tracks!

....I don't make those kind of assesments of males.......sometimes eyebrows, but that's only because mine are so skimpy......

yeah me too...back a few months there was a party and they all sent me pics standing in a line holding up signs saying wish you were here...I cried

You were suppose to tell everyone that I was more immature than my perceived image here at KS!
Yeah, we talked about KS. It was kinda weird. I felt like I really knew everyone here for real.
And the more we talked, the more embarrassed I was about some of the do-do I've dumped here.
So I guess what I'm saying is, KS has been kind of a doormat for me.
And I really do apologize to anyone who I might've rubbed my feet on here.

Turns out, you're a real likeable guy too. I hope we can get together again sometime.
And oh, I was later than hell gettin' back to Indy, but man, I enjoyed our chat over coffee, so it was worth it to me.

Andrea. Yeah, that sounds about right. But in our case, I'm not sure that's a very manly thought. !!

I think sometimes alot of us forget that on the other end of this vast information highway, we are all only human....with real feelings that should be considered before we let our mouths get the best of us. I do tend to let my mouth do the walking. And it's not impossible for any of us to be tracked down for whatever reason.

Just remember people....before you pull the trigger on me, look into my eyes and soul first. That should remove all doubt.
