Hello Karaoke Scene members.

I am very, very new to this forum and I hope someone out there can help me locate 3 very obscure Neil Diamond songs as Karaoke tracks. Here they are:

1) I've Been This Way Before - there is a version of this song elsewhere on this site, submitted and sung by a member named "ClayPotts." I would like to locate the backing track he used for his well done rendition of this tune.

2) BE - from "Jonathan Livingston Seagull." I have not seen a single tune from the JLS soundtrack ever make the jump to Karaoke.

3) IF THERE WERE NO DREAMS - from Lovescape.

I'd be grateful for any help any forum members could offer.

Tom Daniels

Try KJPro. Their site has most of the songs available in karaoke.

But it so much easier to ask other people to do the work for him.

BruceFan,

I've been searching for these songs for several months. I didn't sign into the forum just to be ripped by outrageous comments like this. Give me a break!!

Tom, if you can't find them after looking for them for months.... because they don't exist; then why ask others to do the same leg work all over again? Do you think the people here are hiding these songs from you and will only give them to you if you specifically ask for them? There's probably a very good reason that these 3 songs aren't available on karaoke. Their obscurity just for one.

BruceFan,

I've been a newbie to this forum for less than one hour and already have been offended by your replies to my posts. What the hell is wrong with what I am asking here?

First , based on an upload to the singer's showcase, I know that at least one of these songs does exist as a Karaoke track.

Second, I'm new to this karaoke "world" so I have no idea how many different companies exist that create the backing tracks. I'm figuring that by reaching out to a group of people with the same interest I might actually someone who knows exactly what I'm looking for and where I could find it. I certainly didn't anticipate attitudes like yours to show up and piss on my posts.

Third, other than something as minor as a disc number/title, I'm not asking anyone for anything.

If my innocent request bothers you, please don't reply again. Thank you.
TD

Try commenting to the song that is in SS and ask the singer where he get it from. He may lead you to more Neil Diamond songs. Also sent him a PM.

That's right.

I'm new to THIS karaoke world, not to karaoke in general.

I need the SONGS. Not the attitude. OK?

Be is available from Sunfly via selectatrack.com & tricerasoft.com. Or you may be able to find the actual disc, not sure what number it is or if it's still available.
The other 2 I have no clue, could be that Claypotts made his own from the original possibly.

Ignore him. Focus on the solution, not the problem.

You got some helpful answers, though you might get better response if you 1) only post your question once and 2) mentioned where and how long you have already looked.

Tom,

I don't know if these tracks exist as karaoke track I do know there are great backing tracks of these available as mp3 downloads from Jeff Daniels

http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/index.php

Here's the links to the songs:

I've Been This Way Before
http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/items.php?id=4183

If There Were No Dreams
http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/items.php?id=4178

Be
http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/items.php?id=4156

I have recently had a number of custom tracks made by Jeff and these are now available as well... You might want to check those out also. Just do an artist search for Neil Diamond or click on his blue name on the page os the demo tracks above.

Welcome to SingersShowcase... I do hope you will not be driven away by the disrespectful comments of the likes of BFFL... there are many helpful and friendly people here.

Cheers,
Murray

You should take your own advice and ignore people you don't like. Some people just like to see themselves in print I guess. They'll even use bad language because they can't express themselves without it. If the OP can get all of you nice people to do his leg work for him; good for him. He has a PC just like everyone else here and he could have found the information that was given to him by murrlyn and Lonman if he had put a little effort into it. Now, will he ask someone else to buy the mp3's for him and create the CDG files for him too? I think all of you "nice" people should all chip in and do it for him. After all, he's new.

bruce, you're missing the point.

I'm in the business for almost 6 years now and even I don't know all the fancy download sites and Karaoke shops there are all over the world. So if I get a song request and can't find it anywhere within my sources, I would certainly ask for the help of the more experienced KJ's here on board, hoping that someone might know where to find it. That is one of the reasons this board exists in the first place.

I really don't understand your attitude and there is certainly no need for it either. (Other than the PMS mentioned earlier lol)

I told Phil that I'd drop it so your little group can just keep calling me names because that is so much more mature than telling someone to do his own homework. I hope everyone has a nice day. ;c) I'm gonna google backing tracks now and see what I can find for MYSELF.

It seems to me that communities prosper and grow when people within those communities share information and help each other. I like to think that this website as a community where everyone can contribute in some way. Of course, there are always a few minorities in every community who have absolutely nothing to contribute for the wellness of that community and this particular community is no exception. Thankfully they are a minority.

Now, let me go and develop a means by which I can search the internet for the information I require. I'd hate to use something that others have already done all the legwork to develop... that just wouldn't be right!
