Yes, every Vets day, we gather at the flag pole in the desert, and replace the flag.
After one full year in the desert, the flag is tattered and ready for replacement.
Every year, we have a new flag flown in from Baghdad Iraq.
The ceremony will be held Saturday, the 8th of November.
Yes, I know that Vets day is Tuesday.
It's my birthday party too..
300 of my closest friends will be there..

When you have the race car in the car hauler, the bed is lifted up to clear the car.
When you sleep, you lower the bed so you don't bump you head..

I'll be leaving town next Thursday, and if it works out, I'll be doing a live video feed from the sand dunes Saturday..
Yes, that's right.. Karaoke from the middle of nowhere..
Our group has had wifi piped in.. so all I need to do is hook it up.. (In theory)
If it works as promised, I'll post a link here Friday or there-a-bouts.
If it no-workie, I'll post that too.

Hope you have fun. I'm going to be running karaoke for one of the local VFW posts on the 11th. Should be fun. I've done their clambake this year. A buddy of mine did it last year.
