Do you KJ partime or are you a FULL TIME KJ
Meaning do you get most of your income from KJ ing ?

Full time - 40-50hrs a week at normal design job...DJ/KJ on the weekends.

My gross sales range from $80,000 to $100,000 a year. The DJ business is a full time job.

It depends on the month I have a full time job, plus I do karaoke 3 nights a week regularly. If I add a couple private gigs to the mix I'm making more than my full time job.

Part-time kj and full-time steam tech, 2 to 3 gigs a week.

Last year, I made exactly $18,200 on my two weekly KJ nights, about $4250 on private parties and weddings (11 of them), and $52,120 at my day job, for a total of $74,570 before taxes.

I always maintain that KJ/DJ is the best part-time job in the world, but I know I couldn't do it full-time. I get burned out as is (and have to go buy new equipment as a cure !!
