Brought up in another thread how it could possibly affect the attendance of patrons.
What are the prices of drinks at your clubs.
Say a pounder of draft?
Pitcher?
Well drinks? Not going to go into premium drinks as these are generally higher anyway.
Any drink specials?
Favorite drinks & avg price?
I will post my data tomorrow as I only drank Black Velvet/Coke @ $4.50 in a chimney.

I tend to drink only beer when I go to karaoke. One place I go to has beer specials during NY Yankee games: $1 mugs. They only charge $2 for a 16 oz. can of Coors any other time. I also go to a place that charges $5 for a 12oz bottle of Coors light. I go to quite a few other places that charge anywhere in between those two extremes. The bars that charge $5 for a beer don't seem to be as crowded as the bars that charge less. The trade off is you get to sing more often if the prioces are higher. But then again, I've walked into the bar with the drink specials a few times and the place was dead. Must have been rent week?

The average is about $3.75 for draught, $4.00 for bottled beer, and about $4.50 a shot and for wine coolers, give or take. Sodas (as we call pop) goes for about $2.00

One bar here run off the singers when they went to $3.50 for a bottle of Bud. My reg gig gets $2.25 for a draft and $3 for a bottle The draft has a little more beer than the bottle.
With the economy the way it is most are going to seek the cheaper places. Big clubs can buy cases in volume and get huge discounts from the distributors. A bar owner can actually buy a case at discount liquor store cheaper than he can from the distributer getting caught is automatic shutdown. He can buy 1 fifth of whiskey a month from the liquor store across the street.
Some here pay 5 to 10 grand a month for rent. Bars are the most regulated there is from people that never go into them and have all these fantasies about what goes on in them. There is 2 things I wouldnt want A bar or a dairy herd.

The prices range so much near me that my head would spin if I had to keep track.
My wife drinks wine $3.00-$8.00
I like Jim Beam $3.50-$8.00
We both like Henessy VSOP, but most places have only VS $8.00-$13.00
Beer, I'm not sure Draft $1.75-$3.00?
Bottle - $2.50-$4.50?

Our Monday night gig just started drink specials - $1 wells for ladies between 7 and 11, and $4 martini specials. I think shots go for about $5 but at times during the night they'll run a half-price shots special - but the only way you know is if you are already drinking and she/he comes around and tells you about it, thereby avoiding the nondrinkers/nonpayers waiting until there is a drink special to order... Draft in the BIG mugs is $5. I'm not really a drinker so I can't really say what other stuff costs. Domestic in cans runs $2.50-$3 I think.

Your beer price in general is cheap. Our cheapest beer is $2US per 325ml can, draft is $3.30. Now factor in the per capita income and I can say you guys are lucky.

The prices vary for me from place to place. I've paid btween $3.75 and $6 for a bottle of Smirnof's Ice or Magners. Some mixed drinks (like a Malibu Baybrezze) have been between $4.50 and $8 (the average price being $5.50).

Our new Monday karaoke nights have $2 wells, $3 Jager shots and $2 PBR draft pints all night. Wednesdays we have $3 wells, $3 shot specials (including house tequila) and $2 Bud draft pints.
Regular prices aren't that much more as we're famously known for being a "dive"

This is Southeastern Indiana, so prices are probably lower than the average.
I don't drink, so I don't keep close track. But a hamburger runs $3.00 - $7.00, cokes are $0.75 to $1.75, a virgin mary all over the map from 1.00 to 4.00.
I believe beer is 2.50 a bottle at one of my gigs, and $3.00 at the other. Drinks? I have no idea, though I suspect a Bloody Mary is $3.50 - $5.00 as I often get charged for that when I drink a Virgin Mary.
At our service club, soda is 75c a can, and beer is $1.50 a bottle.

I never gave it thought before. I don't drink.
I have some homework to do tonight. I need to find out how much a beer is and what the capacity is for the bar. You all ask good questions. I feel silly for not knowing.

$3 specials on pint drafts
$4 bottles of Corona/Corona Lite
$9 pitchers of Sam Adams
.....kinda expensive but it's hawaii. My former gig on the mainland had $1.50 Coronas so this "special" of $4 is funny/weird...the reg price is $5 a bottle....
