Thanks stogie, but I would need a Monitor with Composite (RCA) in.
Is there a cheap converter from RCA to VGA?

Buy one from Ericlater for $36.00. He is less than an hour from you -- I gave him a link to the wrong product at monoprice.com. You can get them for $36.00, and I suspect they work. (I use the VGA-->{VGA,Composite,SVideo} converter from Monoprice.)

Thank you all. But like I said, I got the TV already. I was lucky with it, too.
They sent me an email, that they feel, that for some reason the model I ordered is in no shape of being shipped and would like to upgrade me for free to a better Sharp LCD TV. I certainly agreed.
At least, my luck is coming back.

Got lucky again...
I ordered the EV Sx500+ Speakers yesterday morning from topdjgear.com. Later on, I went to GC to let them price match the mixer, rack ears, Wireless Microphones, etc. While I'm waiting for the sales guy, I was browsing their showroom and... I will be damned! 2 used EV Sx500+ Speakers, just a little bit scratched for $350 each.
I called topdjgear right away and canceled my order with them and bought those for $700 plus tax. Unfortunately one of the tweeters was blown. But the sales guy is trying to get it replaced with an original EV Tweeter. He will let me know today.
Wish me luck!

I finally got everything either in the house already, or ordered and on the way except one thing. The last thing I'm going to get, once everything is setup and built together is the trailer. I'm just afraid of buying a trailer and then get a phone call, that mine was found. I talked to a dealership I'm intending to buy the trailer from and they told me, the trailer is in stock and it would only take about 30 minutes for the paperwork and I could take it with me right away. So this can wait for the last minute.
Here's my new setup:
1 Odyssey FZ1116WDLX Rack
1 Mackie ONYX 1620
1 Lexicon MX 300
1 BBE MaxCom Dual Compressor, Gate and Sound Maximizer
1 DriveRack PA
1 QSC PLX3602 Amp
1 DBX 1046 Compressor
2 Shure Wireless SLX Beta 58's
1 Shure Wired SM58
1 OnStage Pistol Grip Microphone Stand
2 Ultimate Support TS90 Speaker Stands with bag (thanks Morgan)
2 EV Sx500+ Speakers
1 15-Minute Charger with 4 NIMH AA Batteries
1 12-pack of 3' color coded XLR Cables
1 25' Microphone Cable
2 50' 12 gauge Speakon Speaker Cables
1 3U Rack Drawer Unit
1 4U Rack Drawer Unit
1 Sharp 19" LCD Flat Panel TV
1 Acesonic LCD Stand
For the trailer:
1 GPS Tracker, without monthly fees. Runs with a prepaid SIM card
1 TriMax Wheel Lock
3 Mul-T-Lock TR100 Hockey Puck lock
1 TriMax Umax 100 Coupler Lock
Everything should be here by Friday latest. Then I get the trailer and should be able to run my first show with this setup on Sunday.
I'm back!
EDIT: In case, someone is interested. Altogether (including the trailer) I spent $8300 for everything.

Sevarin, Congrats on getting everything together so quickly and picking out quality gear! I'm sure your show is gonna R-O-C-K even harder now!!
Have you maybe considered getting an etching-pen, as a lot of police in my area suggest, so your name and ss# OR business EIN or name can be etched into each piece of equipment in case it's ever, God forbid, stolen and someone tries to pawn it?
Wow, $8300- GOOD for you Man! At least you didn't skimp and buy crappy junk. Most djs or kjs i know don't have monetary reserves of over $2000, !
Once again, congratulations on your speedy recovery! and ALL THE BEST to you! J.R.

Yes, one of my regulars has such an engraver pen. She will bring it to my show on Wednesday. Then I'm going to engrave my phone number on each piece of equipment, take pictures of everything and write down the serial number, if existent. On Thursday I have an appointment with my insurance office to get some kind of renter's insurance, including all my equipment, or anything similar.
The next time, which I hope will not happen, I will be prepared in any way.

Oh, reminds me... if you are using a trailer, please make sure to add it to your car insurance, so at least the trailer itself is covered!! If you don't add it, it will NOT be covered whatsoever!

Check out some of the budget QSC amps on their website. You can match em to your speakers there. They are extremely rugged. Look at the stories on their forum. You will not believe it. Great value in these times.

I'm just going to ignore JD, since he obviously didn't read the previous postings in this thread.
Anyway... here is, what I got so far (see pictures).
I'm getting the RIGHT rack ears on Monday, they accidentally sent me the ONYX 1220 rack ears. And the speakers should come in on Tuesday and then I'm all set.

I'm sorry to hear that. A couple of my KJ friends had to start from scratch and I'm happy to say they are both doing very well. From the looks of it I don't think you should have a problem. About saving a buck? Factory rebates are a way a company can pass on a discount to the end consumer to avoid it going into the pockets of a middle men. I know of one company that has rebate on select amps and speakers. Many major companies, if they are hurting from the economy will lower their prices. It's good for our pockets but not really good for those particular companies in the long run. I would question their quality capabilities. If you wait till next year you may see some of these reductions. Which reminds me that this coming NAMM show will probably be slim pickin's. Although, I know that there will be some companies that will release some innovative gear. Good Luck to you.
