Must Have "TOP KARAOKE SONGS" for Weddings/Parties

What are the top songs you get asked for all the time. I'm not talking about bar gigs here. Specifically at weddings or private parties.

Lets make a list of the Top 20 - 30 Karaoke Songs any DJ/KJ should have based on popular demand.

Tough Question - too many songs to pick 20
Are you looking for WEDDING type songs or just PARTY songs ?
The top 20 all time Karaoke Songs are not the top 20 HOTTEST songs
Who is your crowd -- Ages ? are they veteran Singers ? or are you looking for VIRGIN singer songs ?

I believe that depends on where you live, so the list will be different depending on your geographic location.

Here near Detroit, "Motown" is obviously very popular.

A good place to start is the top 200. During consult the requests are made for the formal events IE Bride Groom dance.

I use DJ intelligence and they can make a request list (karaoke or DJ) which I will fill before the party or wedding.

That list is OK for you city folk, but not very good for a lot of rural areas. It has very little country, which in our area comprises at least 50% of sung songs.

I can supply you with a country list (KJ or DJ) which includes the latest even Sugarland. If I dont have it I will get it before the party. If your venue has WIFI capabilities we can download on the spot at no charge.

We have a full selection including big band, spanish, classic rock, hard rock. hiphop, or can specialize in any decade. Our DJ collection has the top 150 in each decade from 1950 to present. We specialize in weddings and have all the popular formal requests.

Our karaoke selection includes the favorites and if we dont have it and if it is available we will get it usually by the next rotation.

I´ve got karaoke cdg´s they was packed together and called "Essential Karaoke Party".... with 269 cdg´s for partys... really excellent... ;O)))

If you are looking for a karaoke list only, not dj songs, then you can't do better than Supercore for the price. If you want better quality (though Supercore is pretty darned good) then go for the latest SoundChoice Foundations 1 and 2.
