If you are talking about Atomix MP3 by VirtualDJ, no it does not support karaoke.

If it is Vitual DJ itself I believe it does but I also believe that either CompuHost and Video Hoster are better programs.
I personally use CompuHost because I started out with MP3+G zipped files and I don't relish having to convert them to Hoster's Proprietory format. I also love all the features that CompuHost has and I like the rotation feature myself because it already does it the way I want to do it. If I wanted to give new singers priority I could easily move them up in the rotation by selecting where they land when I enter them. Don't have to retype any name that has already been to my shows because of a drop down box in the add singer box and you only need to add that singer once as it stays in the rotation after the first song until you decide to delete it or inactivate it.

It does have a demo

Video Hoster.

It does not do filler music at this time, although you could run straight music in between. I just run a separate sound card with my dj program running though it at all times.

Should be fine. As far as the video, it states it has a TV out so it should be able to be connected to the tv's for the singer display provided it has extended desktop capability - which most likely it does.
I'd still opt for a better external audio interface with pro connection (balanced 1/4" is my preference) over the built in headphone jack.

It has what you need -- it will work fine. If it has Vista, make sure you have the 2Gigs of RAM.

We tested the Matrix 2000 setup and was not very impressed. I am pretty picky about sound...they seemed to be very muddy and the highs were not there...Lonmans 2nd recommedation is spot on ...JBL EON 15's With the dbx DriveRack PX Powered Speaker Optimizer from what everyone has said is pretty nice. Adds punch and power and does a very good job at removeing those "feedback" problems that come with the EON's The matrix is also kind of heavy (the sub) where as if you use the other system you can acheive those lows with a proberly balanced JBL/Driverack system... :D
