About this time of year in a little 2 room school house a frightened kid stood up and sang for the first time in public. The song was Cool Water by the Sons of the Pioneers. It was 1948.

Since that time I have sang all over the world and to some important dignitaries. It was only about 3 minutes but it was full circle and a little bit emotional for an old man. I asked Patty to take some pics and here is one that doesnt make me look so old.

I would like to share this moment with many friends here. I am not one to seek the limelight but this is my anniversary.

EDIT I realize now the post was a little vague. This is the first time I have sang Cool Water in 60 years... I saved it for a special time... And it was!!!
