I was actually just wondering about a bunch of our members.
Gilly is gone too.
And where's all the Texas gang?

Who could forget such a hot lil' momma like you?
I'm good.. life is looking up lately. (probably because I've been tending more to real life and spending less time talking to fools online, Lol)
Hope all is well with you. Actually, I thought of you again yesterday (nothing personal really, Lmao... now I'm sounding like an online stalker... I thought about ya Gilly.... no, really, that's not how it is... )
We got snow, and I'm loving it. I was tempted to post pics in a thread, cause I'm FINALLY going to get my white christmas... .... and it's more than 3 inches, like we usually get around Jan-Feb. Then I thought, people like Gilly and Crystal would laugh at the amount of snow I'm freaking out over.
(so I'm just gonna post my pics in my gallery, and not make such a loud fuss about it like my normal habit would be)
Good to see ya pop in here, cause yeah, we wonder;)

Silly... I would NEVER laugh about some insignificant amount of snow... , ok.. I TOTALLY would. I moved to NORTHERN Alberta this summer... and it was freaking
-45 here last week! And snow? Don't get me started... heck, I am not sure that our "city" OWNS plows...... our road just has tire tracks burrowed down the middle.... the snow is ridiculous. I refuse to shovel.... in Quebec, we hired a snow plow man to come twice a day.. was cheap, and terrific. I am NOT a cold-loving person. Heck, it's even too cold to SKI here.... like, Sky can barely BREATHE when she is outside.. takes yer breath away! Mind you, the ski hill is so pathetic it doesn't matter much anyways! We have a beautiful lake... mind you, it's frozen over... no difference than summer, I suppose... it's ALWAYS too cold to swim in it. (We live in Cold Lake... note the name?)
Glad that you were thinking of me... I mean, EVERYONE should, seriously. I brighten most thoughts;) Oh, I love me:)

Yeah, the weathermen are freaking out here, it's all over the news, they're calling it "The Arctic Blast".... You all up north would definately laugh if you saw our newscasts.
But, we usually get snow, like I said, Jan-Feb, then it's here for a bit (2-3 inches if that) then the rain comes back and it's all mush. So this is big news for rainy Oregon... and the idiots that don't know how/can't drive in it.
I haven't seen a white christmas since I was about 8 or 9 years old, and I LOVE the snow. I think it's gorgeous. It's kinda freaky watching all my kids have to drive to work in this (they have 4x4's, and they're good drivers, but they work about 15 minutes away down a terribly curvy podunk backwoods highway and well... I'm mom yanno) My daughter just has a front wheel drive car, but I took her out on backroads and to an empty parking lot and made her do brodies and slam her brakes and all that good stuff so she'd get a feel for what it can be like. (she's only been licensed about 6 months...)
But the view from my windows... I love it. And we may get snow thoughout the rest of the week. I'm pretty sure we're up to about 12 inches now (the pics I posted were from last night and this morning)... and it's snowing again.
So, quit being Miss PolarBear and be happy for me;)
Yikes, -45? It's in the upper 20's here and that's PLENTY cold for me.

Ohhhh, I'm happy for ya! I just can't imagine a life WITHOUT snow, ya know?! People who don't know how to drive in snow... I mean, heck, it's winter HERE for 10 months out of the year:) Last year, in Bagotville, I couldn't see out of my WINDOWS for the end of winter. I swear, if I were a bit taller, I could stand on the drift in my front yard, and touch the power lines!!
Back in NS, we got snow and all... but it was nothing like it has been for me since i moved.... and, seems we only ever get posted to northern areas of the provinces! I had North Bay, Bagotville, and now Cold Lake... I mean, gosh, I wish someone would smile on us, and send us someplace a TAD bit warmer! When it was -45 here, my MOM was bragging about it being +16.... soooooo annoying!! I would LOVE a christmas withOUT snow... but, living in CANADA, that's not really a possibility:) My Justin had to go to Inuvik last month... holy, I would NOT want to go there! Only darkness, and crazy snow, all the buildings are on stilts. Nuts! We don't have a 4x4.... just a toyota echo, and a toyota tacoma.... (the echo is mine)... AND we only have all season tires on them.... Lol, we don't "drive" in the snow... we slide and skid:) Weeeee!:) I would LOVE to move out with you:) 2-3 inches would be like SUMMER!:)
I should take a picture of here so you can enjoy our "winter wonderland":)
Ps... I almost forgot.... I got married!! On Nov. 29:) That's my only big news!
And, here's a pic from when we lived in North Bay, the "path" to our door:)

lordairgtar--- You are in Muskego, Wisconsin? Well, I checked, and it says it is -18°C there.... and, it's -36°C here... so, I got ya beat;) AND, I am not even counting freaking windchill!:) I would welcome -18°C:) Mind you, it has been a GREAT aid in quitting smoking:) (I don't smoke in the house)..... my lips freeze to my cigarette, and ice crystals form on my gloves! Ack. Well, at LEAST we don't get TOO much snow... it's too darn cold!:)
Nah, screw this, I am going to move someplace SUPER warm... , Technically, your suggestion is warmER... but, all sarcasm aside... not quite warm enough;)
Edited---- Holy crap... checked the historical weather data for here....
Lowest Temperature (1952-2007) -35.6°C --1970
And, it is officially currently -35°C, recorded here on base.... that's just stupid. Get me the heck outta here:(
