Picture if you will:
The venue I mentioned in another thread- the one that's about dead.
My van being hit with equipment inside, leaving me with my mini ( not great) system for tonight.
Me having a bad cold and sounding like crap.
What happens? In walks Cueball. Boy, I just love being seen at rock bottom... .
On the other hand. we had a good time, and if anyone asks, Cueball can SING! Some great songs, including some very funny ones. This is the first time I met him- truly a fun, easy going guy. However, can you say MORTIFIED in this situation?? He was a gentleman about it, but WHEW!

Awww, Shucks! The look on your face (when you took my first disc and then read the name on the song slip) was just perfect.
Joe, it may have been a quiet night (only 5 out of 12 people singing), but it was nice. The food was pretty good (although I was surprised that a restaurant of that caliber didn't have Osso Bucco on the menu). Your sound system sounded fine to me. Your singing was pretty good too (in spite of your cold).... just don't sing Spiderman again (LOL).

Your sentiments about Cue, echo mine and my business partner's. He and his mom attended my partners show a couple of weeks ago and it was a unique pleasure having them both. If there were nothing else to say, and there is plenty else, Cueball has the most eclectic repertoire I have ever encountered at karaoke. I thought I sang songs from all over the charts. But amongst the close to 800 different songs I have tried, that song list is no where near as varied as what Cueball does in one night!
And, yes, outstanding voice!

I've had a few KS members sneak in on me.
It is always so exciting to meet people from the forum and have them sing at your show and of course you want everything to run perfectly. But life happens sometimes. It sounds like he had a great time dispite a few snags, so you must be a good host to put on a good show even though everything wasn't what you wanted it to be.
The dog may have eaten your homework, but you still passed the class.
I hope someday I can sneak into one of venues of a KS member and surprise them.

Unbelievable selection of songs, for sure, some of which were absolutely hysterical. Hence my doing "Spiderman"......badly
BTW- you should know that he spoke highly of you as well...

I thank you for your gracious comments! I too hope to sneak in on a few, but most seem a bit distant. I'll find -em though!
