The main type I encounter is from what sounds like speaker/amp loading. The high end gets scratchy and the overall sound gets kind of muddy especially when the lower frequencies are pushed. Can this be from pushing too much on the front end or is it actually the amp?

Another kind sounds like distortion but is actually more like interference from a laptop. You get faint random shifts of buzzes and strange modem-like tones.

Another type is from the disc. One sounds like the output signal from the disc is too hot. While another kind of sounds like bit rate distortion and the high frequencies sounds ring modulated.

Has anyone experienced these?
How have you solved them if so?
