well, I dont have all the answer's , but all I can say is the police should have been there with shot guns and posted in side ( with rubber bullets that is ) and I think that mite have helped a little, I just dont understand some people, and if that was to have happened here in my town, a lot of red necks would have gotten even !!!!!

I was shocked to learn that the worker that got killed was 6'-5", and weighed 275lbs. Thats the reason he was chosen, thinking he could handle the crowd. Several linebackers probably couldn't have faired much better with that mob.

Black Friday could even turn out to be a celebrated annual sporting event. Kinda like that one in Spain where they turn the bulls loose, and run thru the streets. Sign me up, I'll be ready (with the proper hardware of course)

Tim that pic reminds me of a true experience. We were in some small Italian port and I was Messenger of the watch on the after brow. There was a big crowd demonstrating against our carrying nuke missles They ran over the snow fence (barrier and approached the gangway). The JOOD asked me if I was qualified on the 45 and told me to check one out at the armory.

When I returned he said "This is not an order it is a direct command if they get more than halfway up the brow you are to fire at will" AYE AYE SIR!! The leader atarted up and I pulled weapon and said said halt in every language I knew. Abuot half way up I was armed and ready. The ones in front saw something in my eyes and stopped. They vacated the brow. With a huge sigh of relief I holstered turned around and there stood about 10 botsn mates with sawed off shotguns backing me up.

The look and relief in their eyes are something you never forget or that feeling when you have lives in your hands is a feeling that you never want to have again.

Well, back to thr walmart thing, in 2002 a friend told me that one the day they have christmas one time special's to go on for one hour, the fight was on !!!! so I sad I got to see this, got off duty at 530 am that morning, got out of my uniform and went to walmart in lake worth, texas to see this !!!!!! while waiting on the sale to start at 630 am, it hit ,there was 2000 sq ft area with tarps over the stuff and when they came on and said the sale is On !!! it looked like a stampeed of cattle going to feed, it was to funny, and I was lauffing so hard I couldnt help them if I wanted to, two ladies got in to a fight with a elmo doll, and one beat the other over head with it , and it came apart !!!! too funny, and as some walmart security people tried to break it up ,a nother two got in to it over bike's and when a employee tried to get them apart, she got hit in the head with a bb gun from a nother lady !!!! even though I was off duty, had to step in then and she went to jail with five others and got a stiff fine and 60 day's in jail for assult and battery, this tought me to stay away from wally world at christmas time !!!!! ..................................

Funny story..it's amazing what some people will go thru to save a few bucks.
I'm tellin ya, they need to do a reality show with Walmart as the stage. Drop the prices a little more, limit the supply on the good bargains, and open the floodgates with the sound of a gunshot. Don't forget the ceiling cameras everywhere for our viewing pleasure. Just add popcorn, or beer.........
