With winzip installed, right click on the zip file. It will give you the options to unzip here, or into folders of your choice using the file names... or merely to extract the tracks inside the .zip file.

It IS possible.

Check out the program Audacity.

Now, not EVERY PC will be good at this.

You can also hook up an outside recorder via your usb. That's how I used to do all mine.

Ok boys, Karl too (ha ha) Merry Christmas!!! I think I've just about got this Karaoke thing figured out.

One more thing. What if i have songs downloaded on my computer. Is there a free download out there or a reasonably priced program that will delete the vocals on a song?

thanks,T

well, that's what most everyone wants.

The pacemaker I sent you has a devocalization for regular mp3s or wav files... it won't save it that way, but you can hear what a basic devocalization DOES.

Most of the time, it doesn't work, or won't work well. Usually does the midrange about twenty percent, and can be really funky when it's done.

I've tried over three or four hundred songs, and only gotten a FEW to do it halfway decently, and only a couple of those were were good enough for the public to hear.

Now Morgan says she's done some pretty good ones... so you might listen to what she has to say!

Goldwave has a vocal reduction option, as do many programs out there. Some free, some not so free.

Merry Christmas

Thanks for that contact.

I noticed that when i downloaded my first karaoke song that on the winamp the words box was only like 3 x 3. Is there anyway to make it bigger so we can actually see the words?

i am excited about getting this going. Gonna try and sing some songs for new years eve.

Yes, you can "grab it" by the sides, top or bottom and stretch it to the size you wish, or you can right click on the lyrics window and there will be 2 or 3 size options or you can simply double click on the window and it will go to full screen.
