AKG used a color coding system for that model of Mic, if your Mic still has the color coded clip attached you should be able to determine what frequency it is transmitting on. In the US I believe they used a reddish brown which designated 710.400 MHz and purple which designated 734.600 MHz. Once you determine what frequency you are transmitting on all you need is a UHF receiver that can receive the frequency. The receiver will usually have the frequency it receives on located on the back of the unit. Below is a link where you should be able to find the owners manual of your Mic.

Perhaps the store where you purchased your mics may be able to guide you in the right direction.

A good idea. I've been thinking that as well.

Merry Christmas!

(This is the right forum. You apparently don't understand that on karaoke-forum.com, you don't post a question in *every* discussion area. One is all that is needed, and this is the right one.)

How, by the way, did you end up with wireless mic transmitters and not the receivers? Have you contacted AKG about getting a new one?

The receiver in the Ebay ad is a single band, it may or may not work for your Mic(s). You would have to email the person and ask them to check the spec tag on the back of the unit to see which frequency it receives. At best it would only work with one of your Mics or possibly neither. I think AKG used a total of six possible frequencies for this type of Mic in the US
It would be Ideal to find a AKG SR40 Dual receiver that covers 711.000 and 710.400 MHz. You could also use two separate SR40 receivers as long as they covered the frequencies you require. From what I can tell from what you have said you are looking for one that will receive 710.400 MHz (brown color) and 711.000 MHz. (Light Blue). AKG also refers to these as US54 and US54B, as they use the same band as UHF channel 54. I'm not to sure this model is made any longer, Ebay may be a good place to start.
