guys, please...

I know you are not supportive of piracy threads, but how on earth are you supposed to educate some people by not leaving a locked thread saying such behavior wouldn't be tolerated?

I was in the middle of explaining it to the newbie when the thread was taken away to neverland!

Ok, so that's what happened, . wow. A little explanation would have been nice. It's for my own personal use, so I don't know if that changes things. I pay lots of money for things I enjoy personally so that's not an issue, but I was just wondering if it possibly was free.
I have paid for things numerous in my life only to find out I could have had it for free ....when it was too late, .

Sorry, was in the wrong thread to move....

But no personal use makes no difference, still not supporting the industry so they can afford to make more new karaoke music.

what I was trying to tell the guy is... this site is ran by manufacturers and retailers... who are hurt by piracy.

If you go to the zoo, you pay to be entertained.

If you go to the movies, you pay.

If you go to the store, do you read all the magazines, or do you buy the one you want to really read?

When it comes to major manufacturers that have shut their doors and gone out of business... piracy HURTS them.

That's the point I was trying to make.

Glad to have helped you on your quest for free player software... but for the karaoke... you pretty much don't have someone giving it away. You WILL find good deals on bulk stuff... collections, disc sets, many of the retailers on the left side of the purple bar on the bottom... have sales. That is how I started and STILL maintain my karaoke collection!

Awwww, Come on Matt. Give the poor guy that link to your private sharing channel. He seems like a good guy.....or make it even easier for him and just sell him a loaded up hard drive. ;c) He just wants to be part of the secret karaoke society.
