And, Micky, while you have criticized DK because you can't make a good recording using a particular DK track as a backing track, consider that very few people use karaoke tracks for that purpose. I can't say if I agree or disagree with your evaluation because I have never attempted to make such a recording. Could there be a deficiency with the software you are using. I believe some software would allow you to minimize the flute. No?

In fact, my first ever package was the Encore 25 cd's and for live karaoke, you can't go wrong! You see, I'm no KJ at all, I just love singing and recording in multitracks, so of course, I'm always searching for the best possible sound and I must say, Chartbuster is on top of the list followed by Zoom, SC would be third, but some of their classic rock is on top for sure
I do understand you folks are pro KJ and your concerns are different than mine
Live & studio sound are two different thing
