Over the year's I have collected a numerous amount of CDG, most all of them have been converted over to mp3+g on my pc. Now I want to use my PC to play them on
my TV. Can someone give me advice on a simple affordable method that I can utilize to make this happen.

Winamp with the MP3+G (CDG) plugin. Use Pacemaker if you want key changes. Free.

S-Video out of the computer into an S-Video input on the tv - so an S-Video cable will be needed. If the tv doesn't have that input, you will also need to get a converter or RF modulator to convert the signal to one the tv will accept.
Once that is connected & tv is turned on, reboot your computer, it should see the tv now & set up the 2nd display. You want it set up as extended desktop.

If you TV doesn't have an S-video input it should have a composite input (single yellow RCA connector). If it does just get an s-video to composite adapter.

Here is a whole 'nother thread on the topic: http://www.karaoke-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=15559

Keep in mind if you are using vista for an OS and your tv does not have s-video you may need a usb to rca converter. See previous threads.
