One of many possible GOOD reasons for changing a business name has been specifically offered. Also, a method (SWOT) has been provided for evaluating that type of decision. While the basics of SWOT for decision making is not new, it is very concise. Why not focus our comments on specifics aspects of such a decision, based upon our own personal or known third party experience(s)?

Unless someone knows more about Gemini's show than he does, why not look for constructive comments? If he was changing the business' name because of negative perceptions he has created about the business, I don't think he would be asking our advice; he'd just go and change the name!

And few people know the "Gemini" name as to sound equipment! And the one show in my area that uses Gemini speakers doesn't turn me off. In fact, the show was rated the best sound in a local KJ contest back in 2007!

Unsure what his exact reasons are, but many of the instances were due to public arguing on this and SC's site. Also, there was some private correspondance that was, shall we say, quite brutal, and hearing the words "grow up" from him when I uttered no profanity of any kind just confirmed my belief in his level of education and maturity.

How bout he rename it "STALIN KARAOKE"???? Or maybe "GULAG ENTERTAINMENT"???

Hey---He could feature an "INTERNMENT CAMP NIGHT" !!:mrgreen:

Those all have pleasant, positive community-oriented connotations and would MORE than fit with his REGIMENTATION and RULES-ORIENTED show!!

Honestly Im not sure... business is fine..i might just be getting bored with the same name..ive had several ideas come across my desk including POWER SURGE..MIRAGE...INFUSION...just to name a few... Right now im just doing karaoke..i have thought about adding DJing ..who know its just a thought..anyway
i can say however that when a question is asked of the group regardless of who it is ..everyone needs to be nice or not say nothing at all.
