I'm starting my new show and returning to kj'ing this week.
Since I now only take my laptop, if anyone wants me to play their disc(s) I use Power CDG software. I am now down to the last few details of rehearsing and ran into this question regarding that software - after I start the selected track, the software continues on autoplay. I don't remember it doing that before and I can't find where the "option" is, if it is an option, to stop or start autoplay.
There much be someway to stop autoplay, can anyone help?

Eric go into settings (the gear icon on the far right) and in General there's a pause between songs checkbox.
I play a mix of tracks pulled from singer's CDGs and my own .zip files some nights (that's why I use this player) but have never had that box uncheck itself. I don't know what happened to your system but that's not right.

The icon that you describe as designated with (2) "Gear", include settings for designating the cd drive the software will target. It also provides the option of having bin and/or cdg files target the Power CDG software.
I don't see a "pause between songs checkbox" and I can't remember if I had this problem/question in the past? I purchases/downloaded my software in late 2006/early 2007, when did you get your version? Perhaps there's been an update since then? That we are using two different versions is likely since my "gear icon" is smack in the bottom middle and not towards the right!

I bought mine about 11 months ago. I can't find a version number on it but it sounds newer. If yours has an update box (and mine is once again in General) you might want to check it and restart.
