You can get the Galaxy for about that. You will want to replace the ear buds, though, and those would be another $60-100.

There is a Nady model that I have heard is not too terrible. I shudder to think of buying that name, but actually got a good report from a band on it.

The big question is -- what good is it for karaoke? 8-)

Yea ...I guess a floor monitor is a better choice...Do you have a recomendation for a powered floor monitor? Thanks

Yeah an in ear monitor would not be a wise choice for karaoke. I know I wouldn't want to stick something in my ear that has been in someone elses.
How much space do you need to fill. The JBL EON10, the Mackie SRM350 are always good candidates.

I use a rectal monitor....it keeps yours ears freed-up....and feedback feels sooooo good......
