I filled in last night again. It was at a different place than before. I had performed there once as a solo performer maybe 8-10 months ago. Friday nights seem to be pretty slow there and the first time I was there maybe 25-30 people at the most were there. They seemed to be mostly interested in drinking, not so much interested in the entertainment if you know what I mean.

Last knight I was there to host Karaoke. I set up and went around to everyone asking if they wanted to sing. 3 people said yes. I started the night with a song to make sure everything was working ok and to adjust the mics.

After all 3 of my singers had sung maybe 3 songs I inserted myself into the rotation because people were coming up to sing after just a few minutes of sitting down. Towards the end of the night after all 3 singers had sung a bunch I was asked to sing several songs and ended up singing probably 10-15 songs total that night. I don't think anyone minded, but I sing professionally and at the end of the night it was like I was doing my regular singing show.
