"I know a song that'll get on your nerves" - actually i don't, I was requested this song last night by a customer... and I can't seem to find any version of it on karaoke.

I've researched a little, and indicators seem to say that it was an old campfire song. You tube seems to fail to find any version with backing music and i've heared a rumour that Joe Pasquale has done it.

and to be honest, I wouldn't mind a karaoke version of This!!

I have a feeling across the pond you have a different version of this called "i know a song that gets on everybody's nerves".

Can anybody help?

After coming second in the 'New Faces' series in 1987, it became a 'hit' for Joe Pasquale

Hope this helps out some.

It does sorta. . . thanks for helping me look into this. I'm sure there must be more to this song than that....

I'm yet to know anyone who hasn't heard of it in some form.

Once again thank you.

After listening to it, I am glad it isn't on karaoke. I know I'll never get it if it does.

I thought that might be me, until I clicked on the above youtube links.
I immediately recognized the tune of "Buffalo Gals (Won't You Come Out Tonight?)".
Maybe there's a karaoke version of that somewhere?
Good luck.

EDIT:
Ha! Found it!

I just did a search for the word "Buffalo" in KJ Pro. Sometimes less is more.
