The Ambassador was a great place and I'm very intrigued by the setup they have. Might be an interesting thing to pitch to some of the software vendors to see if development of that type of module for Compuhost or Hoster as an add-in. I could certainly see the value in that.

It's been out for almost 5 years and works with Compuhost or Hoster....

Well really? Where do I get more information/download it?

Wow I look so stereotypically country there. You would never guess I sang no country songs the whole night.

I left that for Flipper and the other PNW locals to do :)

Wow, Kurt, is THAT why you called me at work? My coworker told me "Kurt called you, said you have his number".

#1: You didn't leave a last name:)
#2: My cell phone got ran over in the snow, lost my sim, Pm me your # again and I'll put it in my new one.

Gryf, wish I could have joined all of you. Hit me up next time. You shoulda came to Canby. Portland is a bit of a prep town, but down here you'd have fit right in with your cowboy hat:) Cool pics you guys.

Those are some great pictures Scott! The Ambassador looks like such a classy karaoke
place. They've gone all out!

Yeah like Charmin said, come on out to Denny's next time. It's tiny but they've got the better sound out of all three places here. The Spinning Wheel just can't seem to get the sound right.

I agree the Ambassador looks like a cool place, nice n' roomy. Perhaps we'll go there soon and check it out, eh Odie?

But trying to get her out of Dennys is like pulling impacted wisdom teeth!!!!! :)

Not true. I'm just lazy and hate to hit the freeway to go karaoke... I like my local crowd, and they like me, and it's a half mile away from home. I hate the small environment, but small venue/short drive wins out over large venue/long drive with me every time.

I'd love to visit a bunch of other places, I'll just have to get it planned and get it done. And get a vehicle that gets better than 10-11 mpg. :D

Gotta agree with Charmin about how comfie it is just going to karaoke right here in Canby. But yeah, it's time for a karaoke road trip to Portland! Charmin made an offer too to drive too -- can't pass that up! LOL

Mmmhmm, and you know the rules for riding with me:

Get In
Sit Down
Shut Up
Hang On

:D

Seriously tho, we should plan a trip within the next couple months atleast. Maybe make it a 3 day thing, so we could visit a few different places. I've been wanting to go to Scott's for a long time now. (and if I recall right, it's thursday)

I can handle those four things! LOL How fast are you thinking of driving though? You got radar detection Charmin? LOL That could be something to check into! :)

Yeah Flipper's nite in Sellwood is on Thursdays. Might take more than one night to get to everything.

Emphasis on the "HANG-ON" part (may want to add "FOR DEAR LIFE") :) :)

Or maybe "HAULIN' AZZ IN THAT OLD TRUCK".....(or Explorer as the case may be)

Well I been tellin you about Hi-Rocks. Its a nice in-between place from Canby to PDX and the drinks and food are MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than Ambassador.

Kays, Hi-Rocks, Ambassador. Sounds like a cant miss combo to me!

Oh and to ALL OUT OF TOWN KJ's AND KS PARTICIPANTS COMING TO PDX, YOU MUST NOTIFY US AHEAD OF TIME SO WE CAN GATHER THE TROOPS AND SHOW YOU A PROPER GOOD TIME!!!!

GOT IT??????????

I have an old shipmate in Eugene My dream would be to come out there and party with him and karaoke from Canby up to Tacoma or Portland.

You know if it ACTUALLY CAME TO PASS that Charm & Odie & KREW actually came to Kay's in Sellwood for Scotts show----well that might just be the perfect unique opprotunity to do a KS MAGAZINE FEATURE UPDATE STORY on Karaoke in PDX. Havent done one in quite awhile--but been after Flipper to do a feature KJ story like I did with LONMAN and MATT KNIGHTSHOW. And the one on Denny's in Canby where CHARMIN was a featured INTERVIEWEE!!!

And I don't drive fast, I was just being silly. (i may veer offroad from time to time, but i keep it legal on the highway)
