Ok, I know this isn't technical, or is it? Everyone just wear tshirts and jeans? Any crazy clothes?

I'm having my newly designed logo printed on a black tshirt. I have Buddy Holly glasses on their way to me. I'd like to get a few other props for attire.

Seems they all have their schtick and run with it. One of the guys in this area wears flame decorated Hawaiian style shirts, another always wears a railroad engineer's cap, I wear my cowboy hat (felt in winter, straw in summer).

Seems like everyone wears something that matches their personal style. That's more important than anything else :)

I usually dress in some flashy button up shirt with jeans - just lets people know i'm not really in the crowd & can usually stand out. Rarely a t-shirt by itself, but sometimes an open shirt over one. Or my leather vest.
These are just a couple of examples, the second one is about 9 years ago. My album shows some of the other examples.

Yeah,

so why not post in the "Discussion Forum" when it comes to non-technical subjects?

I have a series of golf shirts with my logo made up on them, and usually wear new jeans or casual slacks.

I am most comfortable in smart attire, and gained the name of "Dapper" at a few gigs. Now I play upon it...

I tend to wear suit trousers, polished shoes, a fitted - buttonned collar shirt and tie, with a suit waitcoat. Hence "Dapper".

It obviously suits the classy gigs well (corporate / weddings) and is a novelty at the others.

A always wear leather shoes, slacks and a colorful, collared shirt.

Having a unique "look" can be helpful, but it can also be troublesome. Much of how that goes down will be based upon your personality

Myself and staff all have a shirt with their name across the back and the company logo on the front which we wear with black trousers/skirt (none of the boys have opted to wear a skirt yet... though they are more than welcome :D ).

Other local shows uniform, includes "Smartish clothing", company branded white polo shirts and jeans, shirts and jeans and one other female host wears tight ripped jeans and midrift showing tops. One male host has an shirt, medallions and chest hair as part of his attire. . . which would put me off from the show before I begin. And we have one male host in the area who occasionally dresses in drag.

I wear all black. Black short-sleeve dress shirt with either black jeans and jean coat, or black slacks and fleece jacket. When I get bored with that, I use navy blue. 8-)

For me yup. Along with a light hoodie or thermal this time of year. I actually prefer not to stand out. They all know who I am.

I tend to dress the way the room dresses and that's the attire of the guys in my home room. So it's a conscious decision to dress that way.

edit: I do stay away from skulls though.

It all depends on the venue for me. Usually jeans and a new shirt worn casually. I'm not into the formal attire jobs but will wear slacks and dress shirt for certain events.

Venue appropriate for us. If I'm doing a higher class show in a nice place, where the karaoke is the entertainment for all the people there, I will definitely dress up - I think it makes people feel special. Private gigs call for white shirt/blouse, black slacks - the MC look.

Always clean clothes, no wrinkles or dog hair. Nothing worse than a host that looks like they rolled out of bed in the clothes they're wearing.

I think personal hygiene plays a role here, too - I've been to shows where the host actually had BO! Talk about a turnoff. Breath shouldn't smell heavily of anything including cigarettes or booze (mints fix this) ... just common (but not so common) sense.

For that matter, it could have gone to the KJ Forum.

Doesn't matter... sheesh!

Funny, I will be in new black t shirt with my logo on it, black pants, buddy holly glasses.

Nice pics of the Lonman!
