Hooked up all my stuff and i have some problems, like to double check if someone can figure out what i'm asking, i am not to good at esplainin,so here we go...

I ran xlr mic cable from zed 12fx mixer output to the jbl eon speaker input, to each speaker.
I ran the usb cable from mixer to the computer.plugged everything in,set both speakers to "line",turned up volume 1/2 way.

Computer recognized device (mixer)as usb audio codec and auto installed drivers.

I went into sound devices, disabled all the Sound Blaster options and made sure all the usb audio codec devices were selected and made sure volumes were up.I tried testing software from the audio window but said it could not here me talking into mic,so it failed.I don't have anything muted.

If i turn the volume knobs up past half on mixer,i can here myself from the speakers but at half volume,i would think i should be blowing myself out of the room.

The speakers have a "Pop" when i turn off the mixer,so something is getting a signal somewhere.

When i run compuhost,i made sure to select new device as the usb audio codec. When i restart compuhost,it says the audio device driver is invalid or missing.

Seems like my main issue is that the mixer is not operating as a valid sound device as i can get no sound out of it except my voice.(I have not introduced the compressor yet.)

Anyone see anything i might have missed?

I don't trust mixer usb port as input for audio. My feeling is that they are there as audio out put for recording.

Try using using the normal stereo input of the mixer.

I assume you are singing/talking thru' a mic that is plug into the mixer mono channel. That has nothing to do with the usb port connection. Try starting with all knobs on that channel at 12 o'clock, and channel fader near to zero mark.

If the levels show activity - then the sound is certainly getting there, so the connection is fine.

try to play a music file with something OTHER than compuhost

If you have sound, it's the hosting software.

If you don't, it's the computer's audio settings.

What does the My Computer device manager say for your devices? Do you have any yellow question marks on anything???
